Tax Commission

The Westchester County Tax Commission's primary responsibilities include providing property tax related advisory services to local assessment and municipal officials, maintenance of the County assessment rolls, examination of the assessment rolls of towns & cities for County tax purposes and training for local board of assessment review members. 

The Tax Commission does not establish individual property  assessments or collect property taxes. These functions are carried out individually by towns, cities and villages throughout the county.
