WCDSS Office of Staff Development
The Westchester County Department of Social Services Office of Staff Development (OSD) develops, provides, and facilitates the essential services, resources, and supports necessary to empower all DSS staff to maximize their skills.
To accomplish its mission, OSD performs or facilitates the following functions:
- Training - Needs Assessments, Curriculum Development and Design, On-site Programmatic Consultation, State Mandated Trainings, Contractual Training Services, Program Documentation and Evaluation
- Management Reporting
- Publication and Coordination of Establishment/Maintenance of Internal and External Partnerships with other county agencies, regional and state agencies as well as community organizations
- Logistical Assistance to support all of the above
