award-winning SMART COMMUTE Program can help you get relief.

As one of the Best Workplaces for CommutersSM, the Westchester
County Department of Transportation’s SMART COMMUTE Program promotes
commute choices that make getting to work fun and easy! If you use
alternative transportation to get to work— public transportation, vanpool,
carpool, etc.—you’re eligible for a variety of commuter benefits.
Designated one of
the Best Workplaces for CommutersSM by the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT),
we have a commuter benefits program that helps employees take advantage of
alternatives to driving alone to work. Our innovative program benefits
both employees and the environment by contributing to a work-life balance,
as well as reducing global warming greenhouse gas emissions.
