The Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) is a national association that supports its member individuals and organizations in efforts to enhance mobility, improve air quality and conserve energy through Transportation Demand management (TDM) activities.  TDM activities provide cost effective solutions to better manage and operate our transportation system through an integrated use of travel options.  ACT has provided some background and facts for TDM professionals and travelers alike to consider in the effort to combat the high cost of gasoline.  Commute Facts and Figures
