Here you will find information about senior housing options throughout Westchester County. If you need assistance heating your home, the county provides energy assistance for seniors who qualify. The program provides cash or credit toward the payment of energy costs, as well as heat related emergency grants.

Home Energy Assistance Program

The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a federally funded program administered by the Westchester County Department of Social Services that assists eligible low-income, elderly, and/or disabled persons with their home heating costs.

Weatherization Referral and Packaging (WRAP)

WRAP provides comprehensive, weatherization service and energy conservation education to the most needy elderly.
