Amber Alert

The Westchester County Department of Public Safety participates in the New York State AMBER Alert System, which is a voluntary partnership between law enforcement, broadcasters and others to immediately involve the public, especially motorists, in the search for an abducted child.

A new feature of the AMBER Alert System allows interested persons to receive e-mail notifications whenever an AMBER Alert is issued for an abducted child.  For more information and to sign up for this service please click the following link:
