Probation officers wear a multitude of hats during the course of their workday. They are observers, listeners, investigators, analysts, advisors, motivators, educators, facilitators, problem solvers, crime prevention specialists and victim services coordinators.. The officers see the offenders in their offices, in their homes, in the schools and workplaces, in treatment, in custody, and in the community. Each officer brings their own kind of special gift to the work of supervising offenders. Probation Officers are dedicated, hard-working individuals who are truly concerned about making a difference in our communities.
