Now you can watch videos about Westchester on both the Web and Cablevision chanel 504
Westchester County has produced a variety of award-winning videos that are available to you via both cable and the Internet through a partnership with Cablevision. Westchester residents with Cablevision I-O service can view these videos on Channel 504. New videos will be added monthly.
The county governent's award-winning team of videographers has written and produced dozens of educational videos, public service announcements and shorts. The goal is to educate the public on various important topics of concern to local residents, as well as to make people aware of all the services that the county has to offer.
Residents can also view the county’s entire collection of videos and public service announcements right here on the Internet.
These videos available include a series about health issues affecting Westchester teens, a short documentary on the making of Westchester’s 9-11 Memorial, safety videos on the issues of teen-smoking, seat-belt use, prom safety and teen drinking, and how to recognize and report child abuse. Also available are installments on Gay Youth, Bird Flu and video tours of the county’s park system. So whether it’s teen smoking, kids and gangs, Internet predators or cyber-bullies, Westchester County’s multi-media team has tackled the topic.
