Crisp autumn days are just right for staying active
Hiking is an invorgating autumn activity.

Westchester County Parks are a four-season operation. Through autumn and into the winter months, you can keep busy hiking with your family; getting in a few last rounds of golf; or learning about preserving out natural habitats. So check out all the outdoor and indoor activities at our county parks.

The county's six public golf courses will stay open until further notice. Right now golfers can save on fees.

If shopping and antiquing are your passion, the Office of Tourism offers a list of suggested destinations. Or if you prefer meandering through orchards, farmers markets and wineries, Westchester County has them too. Considering a convention? We can help plan it.

To stay in shape for the long, cool winter ahead, check into Be Fit Westchester, a program that encourages adults and children alike to get into shape by exploring the miles of trailways in our county parks.

Volunteers have been the the heart and spirit of the Westchester County Parks system since the 1920s. Every year, we rely on thousands of civic-minded individuals, organizations and groups to volunteer their time and efforts to help make the parks one of the most outstanding park systems in the country. Westchester owns and operates six beautiful 18-hole golf courses. Special rates are available to residents with a county Park Pass and to senior citizens.
