After a great run last year of spectacular lecturers, we are continuing this program of providing a wealth of information for those in the field or just with a general interest. For 6 weeks we will bring in guest speakers to discuss the notion of climate change and its effect on global and local habitats and ecosystems. Co-sponsored by the Friends of Read Wildlife Sanctuary.

It’s for the Birds: Creating Backyard Feeders

In a program designed for children, we will make a few different simple feeders made from everyday material. These will be for use at the sanctuary as well as to take home. Create a feeder that can be used all winter long.
