There are spectacular fireworks on Wednesday and Friday evenings.

"Pay-one-price" admissions
This year you can enjoy Playland Park in Rye using the new "pay-one-price" admission for unlimited rides all day, which means the more you ride the rides you love, the more you save.

  • Prices for Fun Bands are $25 for Westchester residents and $30 for non-residents.
  • Twilight Fun Bands, sold after 6 p.m., are $20 for Westchester residents and $25 for non-residents.
  • Junior Fund Bands, which allow unlimited free access to select park rides for children under 36 inches tall when accompanied by an adult with a Fun Band, are free with the purchase of any adult Fun Band (maximum two Junior Fun bands per adult Fun Band.)

"Stimulus 2009" value package
Stimulus Bands allow visitors to take advantage of a new value package, “Stimulus 2009,” which gives entry and four rides of your choice for only $12. The stimulus deal is designed for those who want to visit for a short time and visit often. The new $12 Stimulus Band can be purchased separately or in combination with any other entry bands offered. The Stimulus Band is valid the day of purchase only and can be purchased any day during the season. Fun Band upgrades and the Park’s weatherproof policy do not apply. Rides are subject to height restrictions.

As in the past, there is no charge for going to the boardwalk - including Big Band concerts and boardwalk arcades and shops, the pier, the ¾-mile Seaside Walk, museum, Fountain Plaza and its adjacent food court, fireworks viewing, lake boating or Read Sanctuary.

Non-riders entering the amusement section of the park to walk, watch the park’s entertainment or chaperone others pay a modest entrance fee of $3 for Westchester residents and $5 for non-residents. If they later choose to go on rides, holders of non-rider wristbands can upgrade to a Fun Band during their visit or use leftover Fun Card points from the prior season or purchase ride cards at $1 a point.

All Westchester resident Fun Band purchases also cover the fees for miniature golf and Playland Beach and Pool. Visitors from outside the county pay extra for mini-golf and beach and pool entrance. Schedules for these amenities vary. Go to ryeplayland.org for hours.

Acceptable proof of Westchester County residency is a Westchester County Park Pass; a valid New York State driver’s license or NYS-issued non-driver I.D.; a Westchester County school photo I.D. or a credit card with ZIP code verification.

Based on the findings of a recently released study, Playland Amusement Park is very good for the economy of Westchester and contributes far beyond what is spent to operate the park each year. Playland rides, food and beverages, off-site retail and other spending and business-to-business spending add $27.7 million to Westchester’s economy.

Parking fees are $4 weekdays and $5 weekends and holidays; these prices represent a reduction from the prior season.

Playland, now celebrating its 81st season, is owned and operated by Westchester County Parks. Playland Park is America’s first totally planned amusement park and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987.

Playland is located in Rye, NY and can be reached via the New England Thruway (I-95), Playland Parkway exit 19. For park admission prices and other information including World Famous Wallendas show schedules, call (914) 813-7010 or visit Rye Playland.
