The Westchester Ballet Company will present its annual production of “The Nutcracker” during four performances in December at the Westchester County Center in White Plains. Dates and times are Friday, Dec. 18, 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m.

For the past 13 years, the Westchester Ballet Company has been thrilling audiences with its magical production of this holiday classic that has become a tradition for families throughout the county. The production features professionally trained student dancers from communities throughout Westchester and neighboring counties, along with professional guest soloists. Under the direction of Beth Fritz-Logrea and Jean Logrea, this production includes spectacular scenery and costumes, classic choreography and special stage effects that rival the best productions in the New York metropolitan area. And, best of all, this family event is close to home at very affordable prices!

Advance ticket prices are $18 for adults, $12 for children (ages 2 through 10) and seniors (age 60 and up); all tickets are $22 on the day of the performance.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 2, at the County Center box office, open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A $2 discount coupon is available for advance sale tickets at Westchester County Center. The Westchester County Center is located at 198 Central Avenue in White Plains, at the junction of the Bronx River Parkway and Tarrytown Road (Route 119). Parking is $4 per car at the County Center parking lot. The County Center building and parking lots are barrier-free and accessible to the disabled.
