If you're interested in
doing business with the Solid Waste Commission, we encourage you to check what opportunities are available through the
county's online system.
Specifically, the commission has solicited proposals from interested and qualified firms and individuals to conduct background investigations and to verify application materials submitted pursuant to the Westchester County Solid Waste and Recyclables Collection Licensing Law.
Responses to questions posed by possible RFP bidders have been add to RFP list. You can
view these responses and the original RFP online. Again, all proposals must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. Aug. 3, 2009. The RFP is also available upon request by calling (914) 813-6850.
You can view the list of current business opportunities (in the form of Requests for Proposal or RFPs, for example), or determine a specific search related to your business using keyword criteria through the advanced search tool.
If you're a minority- and women-owned business (MWOB), register your MWOB in order to receive e-mail notifications of opportunities related to your business area when they are published, in addition to other business-building benefits.
