Registration for the
Rx for Succes: Dare to Be a Doctor conference scheduled for Oct. 18 at the County Center is now full due to an overwhelming response. No more registrations are being accepted and no walk-in registrations will be accepted the day of the conference. We hope to publish hand-outs and other information shared during the conference at a later date. However, don't hesitate to visit the Web site of the three key-note speakers -- three African-Americans who left the city streets, followed their dreams and became nationally renowned doctors known as "
The Three Doctors."
If you need to cool off indoors, consider a trip to the Neuberger Museum of Art at Purchase College to view its outstanding collection of African art. Finally, save the date for the important "Blueprint for Change" Summit, hosted by County Executive Andy Spano, the Affrican American Advisory Board and the Office of African American Affairs. See the Events Calendar for more information.
