Omit punctuation
("St" not "St.", "Ave" not "Ave.")

Use abbreviations (no punctuation)

  • Do not spell out Road or Avenue and so on. Use an abbreviation. Instead of "Main Street," you would enter "Main St".
  • Street may be listed as "1st" or "First" or "2nd" or "Second", etc. - you might have to try both.
  • Use the single initial letter "N," "S," "E," or "W" -- instead of "North Broadway" enter "N Broadway".
