Reach Your Audience
through Our County Parks
Welcome to the Westchester County Parks System …50 parks sprawling over nearly 18,000 acres of lush parkland, including nature preserves, hiking and bicycling trails, pools, beaches, golf courses, a working farm, an arboretum, Playland – Westchester’s premier family amusement complex, and the Westchester County Center – the county’s most prestigious and largest public entertainment/sports arena and meeting facility.
Our philosophy is to offer Westchester residents and visitors the best programs and events, as well as myriad ways to relax and enjoy our vast and beautiful parkland.
You can be a part of our services and programs that are recreational in nature,
but that also address serious social issues, including obesity, drug and
alcohol use.
You will reach people of all ages and ethnicity through the varied venues listed in this brochure.
Your investment in Parks is a partnership committed to ensuring your read to a large targeted or general population.
Your message or product will be a marquee within our affluent and diverse community by sponsoring programs that reach families, ethnic communities, sports participants, senior citizens and the disabled population.
With three million visits per year from residents, tourists and New York metro area visitors, Westchester County Parks provide life-enriching recreational, cultural, entertainment, and educational programs which cater to a diverse population of all ages and interests.
Even with a high median income level,
Westchester has a diverse population. They are avid consumers who want to be
informed about the choices they make.
Hispanics are the largest growing ethnic group in the county making up
almost 16% of the population. The
African-American community of Westchester has grown to over 14% of the
population and the Asian community makes up over 4% of residents. Seniors are 17% of the population. We encourage you to invest in our parks to
reach our residents. This audience will
provide a limitless return potential.
Westchester County is located directly north of New York City, bordering Southern Connecticut
and Putnam County, and nestled in-between the Hudson River and Long Island
Sound. Westchester County’s one million residents have a median household
income of $64,000, the sixth highest median income among all counties in the
United States. Westchester’s unmatched
income standard is 75% higher than the national average.
Any investment can be channeled through Friends of Westchester
Parks Inc., a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit support organization, which provides for
tax benefits as well. It also assures that your dollars will be used
specifically for the program of your choice.
