CROTON GORGE PARK ACCESS ROAD TO CLOSE
FOR REPAVING WORK

The access road to Croton Gorge Park on Route 129 in the Town of Cortlandt will be closed for the season beginning June 11 for bridge reconstruction and repaving.

While the work is ongoing there will be no vehicle access to the park; pedestrian access will be possible from the east corner of the Croton Dam at Croton Dam Road, where limited street parking is available. Park users would access the park by walking down a gravel access road.

The work is expected to be complete by Spring of 2008.
