Volunteers at Croton Point Park Twenty-eight volunteers from General Electric Research and
Development in Tarrytown spent the day at Croton Point Park painting the mess
hall, removing invasive vines and planting bulbs. A few volunteers with good
carpentry skills even repaired and re-installed a door. The group donated $400 worth of supplies and materials to
accomplish the work. Suresh Rajamaran, a technology manager with GE, stated that
the employees enjoyed a great day giving something back to the community. The
group is interested in making this work day an annual event. Thank you GE for a job well done! (Click on any picture for a larger image )
