2007 Westchester County Park Pass 

A Westchester County Park pass is your key to nearly 18,000 acres of parkland and more than 50 recreational facilities that are owned by Westchester County and operated by the Westchester County Parks.  Whether you like to picnic, hike, swim play golf or cross-country ski your parks are open year-round for your enjoyment.

As a Park Pass holder, you are entitled to a variety of discounts and privileges at county-owned facilities.  Take the time to learn about the parks, pools beaches, golf courses, camp sites, tennis courts and boat launching ramps that are available to you.

Family Park Pass
Big Savings
For families who need to purchase two or more park passes. Good for three years. For at fee of $90, two adults and any children (age 12-18) living in the household get their own individual pass. All members of the family must be present at the time of purchase.

Season Swimming Pass
Swim all season for less.  Available to Westchester County resident Park Pass Holders only.
At Tibbetts Brook Pool, Yonkers and Glen Island Beach, New Rochelle, Willson's Waves in Mount Vernon, Saxon Woods Pool in White Plains and at Sprain Ridge in Yonkers. Use at one or all for parking and admission. Can be purchased at the above mentioned facilities.

Maximum two adults and any children per household. All members of the family must be present at the time of purchase.

Senior Citizen         $50

One Pass holder is allowed to bring two adult guests and children under 12 into any swimming facility.

Greenburgh Nature Center
Save half at the Greenburgh Nature Center
Present your County Pass at the Greenburgh Nature Center and receive half off the regular admission prices.  This 33-acre woodland preserve has trails, pond, orchard, gardens, a live animal museum with over 120 specimens, a "hands on" discovery room, greenhouse, changing nature-arts exhibits and a nature store.  Your discounted prices are $2.50 for adults, $2 for seniors and students and $1.50 for children.  For more information, call the Greenburgh Nature Center at 914-723-3470.


Every weekend throughout the year, the Department sponsors special programs and events for people of all ages and interests.

PARK PASS REQUIREMENTS
A Park Pass is available to all residents of Westchester County over the age of 12 for a fee of $45.  Proof of county residency is required.  Residents must present either a driver's license or two other valid forms of identification, one of which must be a photo ID. The Park Pass is not transferable and cannot be used by anyone but the holder.  The pass is valid for up to three years from the month of issue. Lost passes will be replaced at the full fee.

ADMISSION
Your Park Pass provides you with access to all county-owned parks, golf courses, pools, beaches, nature centers and historic sites.  One Pass holder can bring two adults and children under 12.

Anyone over the age of 12 not accompanied by a Park Pass holder must have their own Park Pass.

PARKING
A Park Pass entitles you to reduced parking rates at various parks.  Cars with horse trailers also receive discounted parking at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River.
GOLF
All county-owned golf courses offer discounts to Park Pass holders.  In addition, Park Pass holders may use the golf Automated Tee Time Reservation System, allowing them to make tee time reservations by telephone.  Guests pay the full, non-resident rate, with the exception of 11-to 14-year-olds who pay junior golf rates and must be accompanied by an adult Park Pass holder. ND

CAMPING
Camping facilities, ranging from open-faced lean-tos and tent sites to cabins with water and shower facilities, are available at discounted rates to Park Pass holders. 

BOAT LAUNCHING
A Park Pass allows boaters access to the launching ramp at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle on Long Island Sound.  Park Pass holders are eligible to purchase discount tickets for the boat launch at Glen Island and at George's Island Park in Montrose.

TENNIS COURTS
A Park Pass is required to use the six all-weather tennis courts at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers.

SPORTSMAN CENTER
Discounted rates are offered on trap and skeet, small bore and large bore rifle, pistol and archery ranges for Park Pass holders at the Sportsman Center at Blue Mountain Reservation in Peekskill.

Lift ticket discounts are available at several popular New York State and vicinity ski areas to residents who hold a valid Westchester County Park Pass.  

All Park Pass holders are eligible to receive discounts on tuition for summer camp programs held at various parks.

SENIOR CITIZEN PARK PASSES & DISABLED RESIDENT PARK PASSES
Issued to eligible county residents for a fee of $45, these passes entitle the holder to the same privileges as a County Park Pass, and expire six years from the month of issue. Seniors must be 60 or over.

Disabled resident must present an eligibility form, which can be obtained through the County's Office for the disabled. at 914-995-2957 or 995-7397 (TDD for the Hearing Impaired)  The application must be completed and signed by a physician.

Senior Citizen Identification Cards, available to residents age 60 and older and remain in effect for a lifetime.  They are issued only at the Westchester County Center  for a fee of $4.  These cards are issued for identification purposes only and will not be accepted as a Park Pass. (Senior Citizen Identification cards that were issued prior to 2002 entitle seniors to the same privileges as the County Park Pass.)

Senior Citizen Identification cards and Senior Citizen Park Passes also entitle holders age 65 and over to reduced fares on the Westchester County BEE-LINE bus system.
