August 14. During this time the museum will be open Monday
through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and closed on weekends. For

with hauntings and history of Croton Point through the eyes of
Native Americans who lived there.

We will walk into the water with the long seine net to catch and
then release whatever fish, shrimp and crabs we may catch. Wear
clothes and old sneakers that can get wet and muddy. (No bathing
suits, please).

the Bay

Meet “n’ Eat with The Riverlovers organization, followed by an
evening seining program where we will use a 50-foot net in the
water to catch, study and release some of our frequent Hudson
river visitors. Please bring wet shoes if you choose to do the
seining. Also, check our Riverlovers at

lot for star gazing through telescopes. Weather permitting.

We will compare the wildflowers on the outside and inside of the
new deer enclosure in the meadow to see what impact excluding
deer from an area has on the vegetation within.
