Application (pdf)

Our mission is to provide a quality outdoor traditional camp experience for foster children residing in Westchester County. Emphasis will be placed on environmental awareness and sustainable living in a cooperative setting.

Our campus is the 1,081 acre Mt. Lakes Park in North Salem, which is located in the northeast corner of Westchester County. The park boasts five lakes and a spectacular overlook which makes for awesome hiking destinations.

Activities include team building and leadership, hiking and nature study, swimming, boating/canoeing, arts and crafts, sports and games, evening campfire programs, etc.

Three quality nutritious meals a day are served in the newly renovated dining hall.  Vegetarian options are part of the daily menu. All meals are freshly prepared by a professional kitchen staff.

Campers and staff sleep in newly constructed 27 foot diameter yurts, a kind of sophisticated tent cabin, with windows and a door. Google the word yurt to get an idea of what these structures are like.

There is a newly constructed bathhouse, with showers and a laundry facility.
