Comment: This area is the only viable means for an East-West Trail Connection - it should be a strong contender for a rail trail, especially given its historical nature.

Comment: the area I believe it is already a protected wetland...

let the original old put RR wash away...it doesn't need more people or a trailway back there. I would personally argue against it.

Comment: This area is simply precious!! It needs to be preserved at all costs. There is an easement of the real, original Putnam Valley RR Line thru here that can be utilized as an East-West bike route between the North Cty Trail and the Old Croton Aqueduct.
