| Comment: | Byram Lake is at risk to developers who could potentially cause the lake to be seriously impacted by the type of construction. We have seen that recently with the Trump proposal to build a golf course (which would use fertilizers and pesticides that could leach into the lake). The citizens of Mt. Kisco deserve the protection of Westchester County to avoid this or any future proposals that could harm the water supply. |

| Comment: | A government should help insure clean drinking water. What better way to do so than to buy the property that borders the lake. Byram Lake also happens to be the most beautiful lake this side of the Adirondacks. |

| Comment: | Byram Lake is the primary source of drinking water for Mt. Kisco. The watershed must be preserved from development so it can do its job to protect the water supply from contamination. |

| Comment: | Protecting the Byram Lake Watershed will protect Mt Kisco's drinking water not only for this generation but for our children, our children's children and all generations to come, in addition to the drinking water for Northern Westchester Hospital and all of the businesses in Mt. Kisco. |

| Comment: | The 832 acre Byram lake watershed acts as a filtration plant that cleans the water that feeds Byram Lake reservoir, the drinking supply for Mt. Kisco. This natural filtration plant should be protected from all development so that it can filter water as well as possible. The forests, wetlands, and streams provide clean water, and should be protected. At the same time, passive recreation for people can be preserved. |
