| Comment: | the farm is a part of the community worth saving - children take class trips there and at halloween it is th place to go for pumpkin picking and hayrides. At Christmas it is the place to go for trees and wreaths. Development is all well and good, but enough has taken plac in the surounding area, what about saving a familiar and nostalgic site before the community loses all its individuality. |

| Comment: | In the last 2 years or so, there have been severalnew "developments" on West Hartsdale Road. There is a new church opposite the farmland (now under consideration for Open Space purchase) and there is a new high school (Solomon Schecter)that will open opposite the Mary Immaculate High School. In addition, a Duane Read opened up at the botton of the hill at the four corners. As it is, West Harstdale Road is already unable to handle the incredible traffic load that passes each day. A new turn lane into the school will not help much. I am afraid this may cause the traffic to seek alternate routes by going thru the small neighborhood streets where our children and families will be playing, walking, biking, etc. Is anyone minding the store when it comes to evaluating how these developments will affect the surrounding homes and neighborhoods? |

| Comment: | This property is the last and only working farm in Greenburgh. It has always been the landmark that everyone reconizes when you describe the neighborhood. As the last piece of open space, that now covers the old aquaduct it must be saved. |
