| Comment: | I think a great deal of discussion about usage of this property needs to done. The use of this property as a firing range for police certainly suggests that lead removal must be done and the land subsequently tested to ensure that the land is habitable. The addition of approximately 50 homes would provide more students to the Ardsley school district and the current capacity should be questioned with the school district as to the impact the additions would make, i.e. sufficient space, more teachers, larger class sizes K-12. Moreover, Ardsley Road does not appear to be able to handle excessive traffic. This increase would also impact Ardsley proper and since Ashford Ave. and 9A are already overpopulated with excess cars, some relief would be needed. |

| Comment: | First, why would anyone want to live there. The site was used as a shooting range and is potentially contaminated with lead. I think it is an environmental hazard to have homes there. Regardless, the surrounding area is already inundated with housing. The proposed project will detrimentally increase density in the area, overburden an already crowded school district, add to an existing nightmare of traffic on Ardsley Rd. If more Northern Westchester communities can stop overdevelopment why can't we? |

| Comment: | The alternative proposed use for this space is not acceptable. greenburgh does not need more McMansions jammed together creating traffic nighmares for surrounding villages. |

| Comment: | We are looking to purchase a large parcel of land to use for community gardens and other community uses. Would this property be ideal for that? We're planning a 3 home estate site that will be open to the public, but not intrude on the existing landscape and wild-life. If anyone has any ideas, please email Shervali@Hotmail.Com |
