Comments:

Comment: County should do public/private partnership with a private developer to adaptively reuse the historic buildings by using low income tax credits and historic tax credits to develop artist housing, mixed income housing, parks and a marina. This way the county could leverage the funding from open space funds and have the potential to provide income back to the county by participating in the future income stream from the property. This would be a true win/win for the citizens of Westchester County by preserving the historic industrial building of the past and creating access to the river without totally using tax dollars.

Comment: The waterfront is a valuable resource and should be improved with a mix of uses including some open space, especially at the river's edge. Open space without activity will be of marginal value

Comment: Many developers have been swarming around this property. High rise apt buildings are their goal. This town, with the river in its name, has no public river access.NYC is building a beach, We must have more beaches.
