Comment: What is the latest regarding this parcel of land? This is truly a unique environment, with a healthy and relatively unfragmented ecosystem. On a recent outing, I stumbled upon dozens of salamanders. You can't find anything like this so close to New York City.

Comment: Dickerson Mountains location next to the New York City Watershed along with the fact that it is inhabited by many species of wildlife and that it is located in an area that has numerous development proposals make it worth preserving as open space

Comment: Please purchase all the property the Board will allow. I think it's important to preserve our open space and I applaud you for taking on developers who would love to build and continue the suburban sprawl that is taking away from Westchester's beauty.

Comment: The property is now undeveloped but, subdivision plans have been filed. Site is 4th highest elevation in County.
