Five Community Based organizations providing services to
youth ages 14 - 21 are being funded as part of the Workforce Investment
Act Youth Services. These services are for in school and out
of school youth.

| Work Readiness Training |
| Work Experience |
| Job Search |
| Job Placement |
| Mentoring |
| Referrals to local agencies for additional services
as needed |
| On-going case management services |
| Enrichment services such as field trips to colleges,
guest speakers, community service projects such as preparing meals
for the homeless, working at a local health department |
Once a customer exits from the program, they receive 12 month follow up
services which includes leadership training, support services and job
keeping skills.
The organizations are: SER of Westchester,
Inc. (working
primarily with non English speaking customers ) serves both in and out of
school youth.
White Plains, Peekskill and Mt. Vernon Youth Bureaus - serving in school
youth only
Westchester Community Opportunity Program serving both in and out of
school youth in five communities (Peekskill, Ossining, Greenburgh/Elmsford,
New Rochelle and Yonkers)
