If you have not already done so, it is too late to sign up for the Westchester County civil service exams for Police Officer and Police Officer (Spanish Speaking). But it is not too late for those who have signed up to also sign up for a prep course.

By popular demand, Westchester Community College has added another section of its comprehensive Police Officer Exam Prep Course to assist candidates who are taking this test. Register as soon as possible, as space is limited.

The nine-hour course, spread over two sessions, will be taught by WCC faculty to prepare applicants for the Nov. 15 exam. The cost is $8. Sessions will be held Oct. 17 and Oct. 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Classroom Building, Room 200 at WCC’s main campus in Valhalla is sold out. Download the prep course registration form.

“We are working hard to ensure that there will be a deep and diverse pool of applicants who will take the police officer exam,” said County Executive Andy Spano. “The prep course is being offered to give everyone interested in a law enforcement career the opportunity to succeed on the test.”
