Westchester’s Bee-Line bus system will inaugurate its summer schedules on June 23, with the addition of service on some routes, adjustments to other routes and seasonal service to Playland Amusement Park, Rye.

The changes are the following:

• Earlier weekday service on Rt. 2 in Yonkers.
• An earlier Saturday morning trip on Rt. 5 from Getty Square.
• Sunday service on Rt.  6 between downtown White Plains and the Kensico Dam Plaza.
• Increased rush hour service on Rt. 7 between Yonkers and Mount Vernon.
• Earlier, later and additional service on Rt. 20 in Yonkers.
• Extension of mid-day Rt. 61 service in Port Chester.

In addition, daily service will begin June 24 on Rt. 75, 91 and 92 to Playland.

The county and Metro-North Railroad offer a special train/bus excursion package for New Haven Line passengers wishing to travel by train to Playland. The package includes a train ticket, a MetroCard to use on the Rt. 75 bus from Rye Station to Playland, discounted Fun Card for rides and more.
