Organizers and players of the White Plains NYCONN Rugby Football Club presented County Executive Andy Spano with a plaque during a Dec. 10 visit to Spano's office in the County Office Building in White Plains.

The club, the 2007 Metropolitan NY Rugby Champions, wanted to thank the County Executive for his support and for his Legacy Program, which is financing the building of playing fields across Westchester. To the left of County Executive Spano is the club's coach, Fiore Screnci, and to his right is Edward Burrell, the club's vice president and a player on the club's adult team.
