The following are organizations in and near Westchester County that offer social and support groups for LGBT adults:

Gateway Program/Westchester County Medical Center

The Gateway Program located in the Behavioral Health Center at Westchester Medical Center provides individual, family, couple, group and substance abuse treatment specifically for LGBT persons.  Pre-teens through seniors receive the highest quality of care in a safe and confidential environment.  Linkages to primary care and specialty health care services are also provided.

The LINK

Serving lesbians age 18 and over, The LINK holds lost-cost social events and other activities in Rockland County.  Contact information is:  845-364-LINK or  link4women@yahoo.com.

The LOFT: The Lesbian and Gay Community Services Center

The LOFT is one of the oldest LGBT organizations in the lower Hudson Valley and the only LGBT community center. Its mission is to provide a safe gathering place for the LGBT and supportive community in the lower Hudson Valley and to advocate for full equality for all LGBT people. Programs and services include: The LOFT Helpline; the Community News newsletter; a lending library; peer support groups; a senior outreach program; educational programs; social activites; and gala events. Located in White PLains.

NYC LGBT Community Center

The LGBT Community Center in New York City offers a wide variety of programs and maintains an extensive web listing of LGBT resources for New York City. 

Poughkeepsie GALA

Poughkeepsie GALA provides meetings and social activities for folks in Poughkeepsie and the surrounding areas.

The Rainbow Alliance of Westchester, Inc.

The Rainbow Alliance of Westchester is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization committed to providing the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community with a safe, nurturing, respectful and nonviolent environment that celebrates our cultures and offers support and education for members of the community. Affiliated organizations include the Westchester Lesbian Connection and Lambda Peer Support Services.
