Since 1944, the Westchester County Environmental
Laboratory has been a certified Public Health Laboratory and has
contributed to protecting the health of the citizens of Westchester County
and the Lower Hudson Valley. In those 62 years, our scope has
expanded from testing milk products for a handful of parameters, to
testing water, soil, and air samples for a wide variety of EPA and New
York State mandated tests.
We provide testing services to a number of government agencies, health
officials, engineers, hospitals and medical facilities, schools,
businesses, lawyers, realtors, and homeowners.
Our state of the art facility and a highly trained staff enable us to
provide the best in Bacteriological, Inorganic, Organic and Radiological
testing. Our QA/QC department ensures that all reported
results meet or exceed all standards for precision and accuracy. The
average sample turnaround time is 10 business days, however, we can
accommodate requests for rapid sample analyses.
