Westchester
County needs to fill several vacancies in the title of
Environmental Health Technician I.
This
position requires that you first participate in a civil service
exam held continuously by the Department of Human Resources.
Candidates must possess:
Satisfactory completion of sixty credit hours of college
education, with a minimum of twelve credit hours in the physical
or biological sciences.
Please Note:
Candidates must submit an official (raised seal and signed by
registrar) transcript to the address listed below before being
approved and admitted to take this examination, unless it is
already on file in our office. Candidate’s official transcript
must be received within 60 days of filing application. If
transcripts are not received within 60 days, candidate will be
disqualified to take this exam and must re-file.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Possession
of a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State
at time of appointment.
Salary range
$41,315 - $50,880
with an excellent benefit package.
