The Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services identifies the needs of the elderly in Westchester; creates plans for meeting those needs; and advocates for responsive policies, programs, actions, legislation and resources on behalf of the elderly. The department also offers recreational programs and activities.

The Westchester County Department of Consumer Protection works to protect consumers, ensure a fair marketplace, investigate consumer complaints and educate the community on consumer issues. The following pages are available in Spanish:

 Westchester County Department of Health works in conjunction with many local organizations, as well as schools, and the community.  Available information includes:

Westchester County's Emergency Planning for Indian Point  Booklet is available in Spanish.  The guide, geared to residents living within 10 miles of the power plant, gives information on what to do in case of an emergency.  Click here to read the online version 

The Westchester County Office for Hispanic Affairs is constantly assessing the needs of Westchester's Hispanic community and coming up with ways to solve problems.  Martha Lopez-Hanratty, who heads the office, works closely with schools, local organizations churches, health centers and government departments to see how they can better meet local needs.  The office offers a full package of information in Spanish and English about the different programs and services available within county government.  To request a package please call (914) 995-2476.
