El Centro Hispano de White Plains The mission of El Centro Hispano is to strengthen Hispanic families by providing them with information about housing, employment, translations and immigration matters. El Centro Hispano also provides these families with outreach, counseling, education, and advocacy programs to help them assimilate their new language and culture, at the same time that they maintain and enrich their own. Comite Latino - Peekskill Under the umbrella of the Hudson River Health Center, this agency assists Spanish-speaking immigrants. Services provided by the organization include English-as-a-Second-Language programs and social service assistance ( i.e.. education, translation, filling out forms, domestic violence referral, clothing drives, cultural events, etc). The Hispanic Resource Center of Larchmont and Mamaroneck Founded in 1998, the Hispanic Resource Center is a not-for-profit community-based organization serving the Hispanic community in Larchmont and Mamaroneck. The organization assists people in need and promotes social, economic and professional integration of the immigrant community into the larger community. Services, Education, Resources (SER) of Westchester The mission of SER of Westchester, Inc. is to serve the community by preparing children, youth and adults for the workforce. Neighbors Link Is a bicultural non-profit organization founded to help Latino immigrants. As a not-for-profit agency, Neighbors Link offers day and night classes for women and men in English, Computer Training, Sewing and Tailoring as well as Small Business Management. In addition, through their Economic Development Program, they help day laborers negotiate jobs by making referrals for housekeeping, stone masonry, painting and gardening work, and more.
