Thirty minutes of moderate physical activity five days a week is recommended to help keep adults in shape. Walking, biking, hiking, cross-country skiing and swimming are all activities that can be done in Westchester County parks. Many of these activities are free of charge.

There are more than 17,000 acres in the county's system of 50 parks, offering some of the most beautiful scenery in the country.
