The Westchester County Department of Health has been notified that 3,000-5,000 gallons of fully treated and disinfected sewage effluent was discharged into the Byram River from a force main near the Westchester County Department of Environmental Facilities Wastewater Treatment Plant in Port Chester.

There is no health impact associated with this discharge.
