The Westchester County Department of Health has been notified that 4000 gallons of treated unchlorinated secondary sewage effluent was discharged into the Byram River from a force main near the Westchester County Department of Environmental Facilities Wastewater Treatment Plant in Port Chester.

There is no health impact associated with this discharge.
