The Westchester County Department of Health today announced that their official website is now up and running on the Internet. Net surfers can get information about tickborne disease, immunizations, rabies, and a host of other health related topics by visiting the Health Department's home page at www.co.westchester.ny.us/health. The website also features a "What's New" link, where visitors can find out the latest health happenings. A "Press Release" page gives users the most recent health news. "All of us at the Westchester County Department of Health are extremely pleased to have our home page on the Internet," said Dr. Harold N. Adel, Commissioner of Health for Westchester County. "Now, anyone who has a health related concern, whether it be day or night, can simply log on to our site and seek answers to questions they are asking," he added. The Health Department's website offers information on its many programs and District Office clinic services. The site will soon provide users with health statistics and ready-to-print Health Information materials.
