GROUND SPRAYING CANCELLED FOR TONIGHT, SEPTEMBER 12
Westchester
County today postponed all mosquito spraying scheduled for tonight, Tuesday, September 12, due
to expected windy conditions. The
spraying in Yonkers, Hastings,
Rye Brook, Port Chester and
Briarcliff Manor is now scheduled
to take place on Friday,
September 15, between 11:30 p.m.
and 4:30 a.m.
The
Westchester County Department of Health has been notified that a mosquito pool
from White Plains has tested positive for West Nile virus. No additional
spraying is required as a result of this report.

Line at (914) 637-2420 for the most recent information on West Nile virus, or
they can visit the Health Departments website at www.westchestergov.com/health.
