THREE NEW WEST NILE POSITIVE BIRDS
The Westchester County Department of Health today received notification from New York State Health Department that three additional birds have tested positive for the West Nile virus: a crow in Bedford; a blue jay in Hastings-on-Hudson, and a red tailed-hawk in Briarcliff Manor.
The Health Department will be evaluating this information and developing plans for mosquito spraying. Updated information will be available tomorrow, Friday, July 28, 2000. -30- |
