Mosquito Spraying Tonight

Due to intermittent rain delays during last night’s mosquito spraying, the remainder of the mosquito spraying in the communities of Mount Kisco, Pound Ridge, Bedford, Scarsdale, and Lewisboro will be conducted tonight between 11:30 pm and 4:30 am tonight.

"The majority of the mosquito spraying for these communities was completed last night," stated Dr. Joshua Lipsman, Westchester County Health Commissioner. "We will be completing the remaining areas tonight."

The Westchester County Department of Health has arranged for staff to be available from 10 am –6 pm today to answer any questions regarding the spraying tonight through its West Nile Hotline, (914) 637-2420. Updated information on mosquito spraying can also be found on the Health Department’s website www.westchestergov.com/health and on the West Nile Virus Hotline which can be reached by calling (914) 637-2420.
