In
recognition of National Drinking Water Week, the Westchester County
Department of Health will hold its annual water tasting contest to
select the best tasting water in Westchester County. County residents
can participate in the blind taste test at the Michaelian Office
Building, White Plains, from 10am – 2 pm on Wednesday, May 10, and
select their favorite drinking water.
The
participants in this years taste test are Yonkers (last years winner),
Mount Vernon, United Water, New Castle and Bedford.
“Water Week” is a coordinated effort of the
Westchester County Water Agency, the Westchester County Department of
Health, the Westchester Water Works Conference, the New York Section of
the American Water Works Association and the New York State Department
of Health.
