Spike Visits Park & Brookside!

On Wednesday, May 31, Aramark’s SPIKE character visited both Park
and Brookside schools during the lunch periods. The beloved furry blue
boy mingled with the children, while the “helper” who accompanied him

spoke to the kids about Spike’s message – “To stay healthy, you
must eat right, get plenty of sleep and exercise everyday!” The children

also received some “Spike” gifts and fun worksheets to take home.

Spike’s message reinforces the monthly FIT KIDS wellness messages the children have experienced all year. The June wellness message is “Eat a Balanced Diet to Stay Healthy”. The Wellness Committee wants to extend a warm “thank you” to high school Drama Club students for bringing the Spike character to life for the children.
