Fit Kids at Claremont

This year, Claremont School had pedometers to measure how many steps we took in five days. We had these pedometers because the “Fit Kids” program wanted us to become healthy! Christopher O. of Mr. Burrows class received special recognition for being the best “guesser” at Claremont. He was the closest to approximating the total number of steps taken by the whole school. Mr. Burrows’ class also won an award for the most steps taken for a 5th grade class. Mrs. Hammer’s class took 475,794 steps in total! We took more steps than any other 4th grade class in the whole school at Claremont. We totaled our steps and made a bar graph from our data. Mrs. Hammer’s class had a lot of fun! Can you take the challenge of beating our steps next year? By: Marissa, Henry, Chris, Lenox and Ramsha.
