On June 10, Elmsford residents were invited to the ribbon cutting ceremonies
of two new initiatives which were facilitated by the Mayor of the Village of
Elmsford and the Village Trustees:
- Ribbon cutting ceremony for dedication of the
Village’s new Tennis Court at Carol Nichols Park on White Plains Avenue: The
newly built tennis courts have already been well received by residents.
Attendees at the kick-off event received information on the tennis
instructions that will be offered at the courts, free tennis balls to
promote their interest and healthy snacks.
- Ribbon cutting ceremony for dedication of the
newly created Rest Area on the South County Trailway, which is located at
the bottom of Van Wart Street: This popular area of the Trailway for walkers
and cyclists now has a nice Rest Area courtesy of the Village of Elmsford.
