What a run!!
The 7th Annual Westchester Film Festival was a Crowd-Pleaser Twenty-six features, documentaries and shorts were presented March 10-12 at the White Plains City Center Cinema 15 de Lux.
Actor Danny Aiello and Kevin Jordan, writer/producer/director, did a Q&A after the showing of their film Brooklyn Lobster. The film depicts a Sheepshead Bay family fighting to keep its seafood business afloat during the savings-and-loan scandal of the 1980s.
County Executive Andy Spano (c) congratulated Chris Wedge (l) and Joe Stillman (r) after they were presented with special achievement awards. Oscar-winning director Wedge created Ice Age and Robots. Stillman, who co-wrote Shrek and Shrek 2, has received both Oscar and Emmy nominations for his work. Now we're getting ready for the 8th Annual Film Festival in March 2007!
