Does Westchester offer educational assistance?
Yes, Westchester has a program called Westchester Scholars which offers mentoring to 7,8 and 9th grade students. Students who successfuly complete the program will receive a desktop computer and free Internet service for one year.

Does the county have a scholarship program?
Yes, Westchester County along with the private Jandon Foundation runs a college scholarship program for academically achieving students whose families earn annual incomes below the poverty line. Scholarships are awarded each year to students who qualify. Applications can be obtained through high school guidance counselors of from Jandon Scholars.
