Muscoot Farmers Market
Every Sunday through Oct. 26

The Farmers Market, which runs from 11 a.m through 3 p.m., promotes sustainability and the support of local farms, and enables shoppers to buy the freshest produce, meats and cheeses, along with soaps, candles, honey, maple syrup, flowers, fish, chutney, and delicious baked goods that were produced or grown by local farmers and vendors. Help local farms, enjoy fresher food and reduce the carbon footprint.

There will also be activities and fun for the whole family. Visitors can see the farm’s newest chicks, a new calf, lambs, a piglet named Precious, and kids (baby goats).

The market will be held every Sunday through Oct. 26. Admission to Muscoot Farm is free. For more information, call Muscoot at (914)-864-7283.

Muscoot, a Westchester County park, is located on Route 100 in Somers and can be reached via I-684, exit 6. Go west on Route 35 to Route 100 and turn left; the farm is a mile and a half ahead on the right. For more information, call (914) 864-7282 or go to Westchester County Parks.
